PowerPoint to Markdown

Reuse a presentation as an outline or meeting recap. Slide text is gathered in presentation order; compare it with the slides when positioning carries meaning.

Drop files here or click to choose.pptx · Up to 5 files · 10 MiB per file

Files are uploaded to the BrightTools server only when you start conversion. Editing, preview and ZIP creation happen in your browser.

Temporary files and results are deleted after success, failure or timeout. Crash leftovers are removed within 16 minutes while the service is running, or at its next startup. Results are not stored long term. Logs and analytics exclude original filenames and document content.

Most tools work locally. Background removal and Document to Markdown upload selected files for server processing and delete them afterwards.

How to use

  1. Choose supported files. Nothing uploads until you start conversion.
  2. Start conversion. Files are submitted one at a time; a failed file does not stop the rest.
  3. Review and edit the Markdown, then copy, download .md or save successful results as a ZIP.

Good to know

Only PPTX is accepted. Animations, slide design, charts and images are not reproduced. Reading order within complex slides may need editing. Complex layouts, charts, formulas and images may not survive conversion. Check extracted text and tables before using them. No OCR, URL fetching, ZIP input, audio, video or AI image recognition.
