Image Grid Splitter
Split photos into a 3×3 grid or a custom layout. Crop, zoom and position the image, then download clear individual tiles or one ZIP — without uploading anything.
Most tools process locally in your browser. Background removal uploads selected images to the configured server processor and deletes the source after processing.

Good to know
All work happens locally in your browser. Very large images may be rejected to protect device memory. When a dimension is not divisible by the grid count, edge tiles can differ by one pixel so no pixels are lost.
Frequently asked questions
How do I split one image into a 3x3 grid?
Choose an image, keep the default 3×3 layout, adjust the crop if needed, and select Generate slices. The nine tiles are ready for individual or ZIP download.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Decoding, cropping, rendering, encoding and ZIP creation happen locally in this browser. Image pixels and file names are not sent to analytics.
How do I publish a grid in the correct order?
Choose Social media order and publish the numbered files in the ZIP from 01 onward. That order runs from the bottom-right tile back to the top-left so the profile grid appears correctly.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported for input. PNG, JPEG and WebP are available for export.
Can I download all nine images at once?
Yes. Generate the grid and choose Download all as ZIP. The archive is created on your device with stable, numbered file names.
Does splitting reduce image quality?
Splitting itself does not reduce pixels. JPEG and WebP exports are encoded with your selected quality; PNG keeps lossless pixels.
Can I use this on a phone?
Yes. The editor supports touch dragging, responsive controls and paste or photo-library selection in mobile browsers.
Why are exported tile sizes slightly different?
If the crop width or height cannot be divided evenly, the boundary calculation distributes the remainder pixels. Edge tiles may be one pixel larger so the tiles reassemble without gaps or duplicates.
